What happens in episode 1
Daisy arrives at her stepbrother’s apartment for the summer, and she makes an entrance. Her dad has said she can stay, so she is not going anywhere. She is wearing a towel after the trip, and she says she needs a shower before she does anything else.
The stepbrother is not alone. His girlfriend is in the apartment, and Daisy sizes her up quickly. She tells her stepbrother he never said the girlfriend was this hot, then makes it plain that her interest is in him. The girlfriend is never named in the free part.
The stepbrother is caught between the two of them. He says he will talk to Daisy, and he tells her it will be okay. The episode ends with someone new in the doorway and the question “Who’s that?”
It is a short, bright open, about a minute long. The tension comes from the towel, the girlfriend and the stepbrother trying to keep the peace, and nothing in it is graphic.
Standout beatDaisy, in a towel, makes her interest plain, and the episode ends on “Who’s that?”
