Candy AI Boyfriend Options: The Guys Tab Explained

Guys tab on Candy with male characters shown as cards, each with a name, an age and a one-line bio

The Guys tab is Candy’s male side, and it runs on the same chat, image and video tools as the girls’ side. Here is who is on it and what it costs to use.

18+ · Affiliate link · Free to start; 18+ generation needs Premium

Candy AI’s boyfriend side is the Guys tab, a set of male companion characters, each with a name, an age and a one-line bio. You can start a chat on a free account. Images, video and phone calls are Premium features, the same as on the girls’ side. The four guys I read are listed between 25 and 49.

Where the Guys tab sits in Candy

Candy AI guys live in their own tab. The Guys tab is one of three categories on Candy, next to Girls and Anime, and it works the same way: cards with a name, an age and a one-line bio, then a chat when you open one.

Nothing about the Guys tab needs a separate app or a separate account. It runs in the browser like the rest of Candy, and you use the same sign-in.

I read the tab on a signed-in free account, which is the account most people start with. The cards I could read are the four guys in the table below. The tab lists more characters beyond those four, and I did not catalog them.

If you have already browsed the girls’ side, the layout will feel familiar. The difference is the characters, not the features behind them. For the chat itself, see the AI girlfriend chat guide, since the same chat runs on both sides.

The four guys on the tab

These are the four characters on the screenshot, with their listed age and a summary of their bio. I wrote the summaries in my own words.

Name Age What the bio says
Charles 49 A businessman, in his late forties
Malik 30 Trains people for a living, loves jazz and plays the sax
Erik 27 Works with data, enjoys sailing, tennis and fitness
Ethan 25 Plays the violin

Every one of these profiles lists an adult age, and the age is the first thing to check on any character. The bios are short, so they set a tone for the chat rather than a plot. Read as tone, Charles sounds the most formal, Malik the most active, Erik the most technical and Ethan the most artistic. Those are my readings of one line each, not a promise of how any chat will feel. Pick by the bio if the tone matters to you, and by the age if you want a clear adult profile before you start.

What the account rules are on the guys’ side

The guys get the same toolset as the girls. Chat is free to start. Image, video and phone call features are Premium features, and a free account sees an Upgrade to Unlock prompt when it tries them.

Premium gives you unlimited text messages, 100 tokens a month and the 18+ image and video generation options. The same subscription covers both sides, so you are not paying twice to talk to a guy and a girl.

Tokens are the shared currency. A 5-second Scene Video in chat costs 12 tokens, and a phone call costs 3 tokens a minute. If you split your monthly allowance between the two sides, plan the split before you spend it on one character. A month with a few calls and a couple of scene videos leaves little room for anything else, so set your priorities first. The phone call guide has the per-minute math in more detail.

For image tools, the image generator guide covers what the Image button does. I did not verify image pricing, so I do not quote a number for it.

Building your own male character

Create Character is open on the guys’ side too. The male creator I saw shows a nine-step progress bar, so expect a multi-step build rather than a single form. Candy lists character creation among its Premium benefits, so plan on a subscription before you start.

The girl creator I saw asks for a name (Candy suggests one and you can change it), personality, relationship, occupation, up to three kinks and a voice. The male creator has its own nine steps, and I did not walk through them, so I cannot say what each one asks or what the final result looks like.

If you would rather not build a character, the tab already gives you choice. If you want one that suits your taste, start from a guy on the tab first. Compare his age and bio with what you want and see whether the chat fits. Then decide whether building your own is worth the time. The create character guide covers the general process on the girls’ side.

Catches and limits to know about

  • Four profiles only. I read four, so the full roster is not covered here.
  • Check the age first. Every profile I read was an adult, but the tab lists more characters, so look at the listed age on each one before you start.
  • Clips add up. A 5-second Scene Video costs 12 tokens, so eight of them come to 96, close to a whole month’s allowance.
  • Calls run on the meter. Phone calls cost 3 tokens a minute, and a long call can use up a large share of the month.
  • Image pricing unknown. I did not verify what an image costs, so check it on Candy before you plan around it.
  • AI-generated. The images and videos on Candy are AI-generated, not filmed footage.

Most of these catches come from the same place: the token allowance is shared across every feature. Plan the month before you start, and the guys side is simple to enjoy.

Is the guys’ side worth a Premium plan

If you came for male companions, the subscription works the same whichever tab you use, so the question is about your tokens and your time, not about the tab. Start free and see whether the characters hold your interest before you pay. Both sides cost the same to use, because Premium is one subscription, so the real choice is how you spend your time and tokens on each side.

The money line is the same as on the rest of the site. Start free, and if you plan to use Premium more than once a month, the annual plan at $3.99 a month is the cheapest way in. The 3-month plan is $8.99 a month, and the monthly plan is $13.99.

The 70% annual discount is applied automatically on the plans page, so you do not need a promo code for it. The annual plan renews automatically for the same term, and you can cancel any time in settings. For the full price breakdown, see the Candy AI pricing guide.

Strengths

  • Male companions with a name, age and short bio on one tab
  • Same chat, image and video tools as the girls’ side
  • Every profile I read lists an adult age
  • A male creator with its own nine-step flow for building a character

Limits

  • Image, video and call features need Premium, as on the girls’ side
  • A 5-second Scene Video costs 12 tokens, so clips add up quickly
  • I read only four profiles, so the full roster is not covered here
