What happens in episode 1
You and your wife, Diana, pull in at a campground the booking called a quiet family spot by the lake. The first joke is the sign at the gate: a friend reads it out loud, and the reading is clearly not the whole story.
Setting up the site brings the neighbors over. A man from the next pitch offers to help with the awning, his wife is in the conversation, and your wife gives you a look that says you will be talking about it later. The atmosphere is friendly and a bit too easy.
At the gate, the attendant says everybody shares the fire here, which is the first hint that the rules of the place are unwritten. The night closes with quiet hours, goodnights to the neighbors and a line that puts the attraction on the table. Someone says they know you want her, and someone else says they would like to watch.
The episode stops there, with the rules still unexplained and the neighbors clearly further along in the joke than you are.
