What happens in episode 1
The family is set for a summer weekend at home. Alma is turning 21, and her stepbrother has come back after some time away. Before the night starts, the parents set two house rules: be civil, and keep the doors closed.
Her stepbrother notices how much she has changed, and the two of them trade jokes over the candles. It is a tense, playful opening, and the premise is clear within a minute.
