What happens in episode 1
Two couples arrive at a ski lodge that each of them thinks they booked. The road is closed, the group works out that nobody is leaving soon, and the four of them are left with two bedrooms and a hot tub. The whole problem fits into one sentence, and the episode spends its runtime proving it.
The scene is a series of small frictions. Someone nearly takes a fall before a partner catches them, the couples compare notes on the reservation, and the talk turns to who gets which room. A charger left downstairs, a pair of goggles that have gone missing and a husband who will be skiing all the next day add to the awkwardness.
