What happens in episode 1
Your girlfriend asks you to drive her mother, Diana, home from work. The trip takes about 40 minutes, and she has made sure the ride means more than a drop-off.
In the car, Diana calls you her knight in shining armor, says you are a gentleman, and points out that you are looking at her. Her daughter checks in by text and asks whether her mom is talking your ear off.
By the end of the drive, Diana says the 40 minutes have been the fastest of her year and that the night isn’t over if you want it. She explains that her car is in the shop all week, asks you to pick her up from work tomorrow, and adds a request to keep it from Kayla.
The episode stops on that favor, which now has a second trip attached and a secret to keep. It is a light, flirty setup, and it runs on who gets to decide what the ride means.
