Candy Shorts setup: a roommate who hears everything
My Roommate's Girlfriend Candy Shorts follows Nate, who shares an apartment with his roommate Ben. Ben’s girlfriend, Sadie, stays over every weekend, and Nate has an opinion about all of it. He thinks Ben is boring and says so. Sadie, who is 23 in the story, thinks Nate is the worst: rude, cocky, usually in a towel and always willing to say what nobody else will.
The tension is simple. Two people who trade jabs keep ending up in the same room, and the thin walls mean everybody hears more than they should. The series runs five episodes, and the first one is about a minute long. Most of its energy comes from talk rather than action. Nobody in it is a villain, which is part of the fun, and the jokes do most of the damage.
Candy generates the scenes as AI video, so the people you watch are AI-generated likenesses, not filmed footage. That matters if you came in expecting a real production. What you get is a short, talky setup with a clear hook and a lot of banter before the heat arrives.
Episode 1 is free, and it ends on an invitation
Episode 1 plays without an account and runs 64 seconds. It opens the morning after, with the sounds from the night before still coming through the wall, and Nate is the one keeping score. Sadie gives back as good as she gets, and the two of them trade insults that sit closer to flirting than to fighting.
The middle of the episode is about Ben. Nate calls his roommate sweet and boring in the same breath, and the verdict in the scene is that he doesn’t want sweet: he wants someone who will take him. Ben then comes into the conversation, asks Nate whether he minds Sadie staying all weekend and gets an easy yes. The show makes its points through talk and sound. You hear more than you see, and the awkwardness is part of the appeal.
The episode stops on Sadie’s invitation. If Ben bores Nate, she says, he knows where to find her, and she’ll be waiting. Episode 2 is free too, with a free account and no card, and it sits right before the paywall at episode 3. If that invitation hooks you, the free sign-up is the next click.
Who is Sadie in My Roommate's Girlfriend?
The lead is Sadie Ashworth, a Candy chat character. In this story she is 23, Ben’s girlfriend and the one who keeps the weekends going. Her chat profile describes her as sarcastic, emotional, jealous, curious and funny, and episode 1 leans on the sarcasm and the jealousy. Her full character page is at Sadie Ashworth.
Two other roles matter in the free episodes. Nate is the roommate the story follows, and he trades the most barbs. Ben is Sadie’s boyfriend, easy-going and sweet by Nate’s account. Nate and Ben are only ever called by their first names, and episode 1 gives no other names.
Sadie is built for quick comebacks, and the banter carries the episode from start to finish. The chat version is where the character keeps going once the five episodes are done, which is why the series closes by sending you there.
Thin walls, towels and banter: the heat level
The free episodes tease. You get the sounds through the wall, the morning-after sniping and the flirting, and nothing in episode 1 goes past suggestive. The explicit part sits behind the paywall from episode 3, and this page won’t describe it. Candy doesn’t tag the series Spicy, so episodes 3 to 5 are regular token episodes, not the members-only Spicy kind.
Heat is the reason some viewers come back, so be clear about what you are paying for. Episodes 3 to 5 are the paid part, and that is where the physical side of the story lives. If you came for a fast route to explicit scenes, the free part will feel slow, and that is by design. For the wider answer on nudity across Candy Shorts, read our nudity guide.
Full episodes and the token math for episodes 3 to 5
Guests can watch episode 1, and a free account adds episode 2. Episodes 3 to 5 need a Premium subscription and cost 12 tokens each. Without Premium, a free account stops at episode 2.
| Access | Episodes | Cost |
|---|---|---|
| Guest | 1 | Free, no account |
| Free account | 2 | Free, no card |
| Premium | 3, 4 and 5 | 12 tokens each |
The token math is 3 × 12 = 36. Premium gives you 100 tokens every month, so the whole story fits inside one month’s allowance. Each locked episode costs the same 12 tokens, so the price is easy to plan. If you finish more than one series a month, the annual plan at $3.99/mo is the cheapest way in.
The story ends in a chat with Sadie, so the series hands you on to the lead character once the episodes run out.
Dailymotion clips, Reddit threads and “leaked full episode” uploads are re-cut teasers, re-posted free episodes or scams with malware. The only complete, safe version of the series is on Candy.
My Roommate's Girlfriend review: banter first, heat second
My call: this is a short, talky setup that is worth the free episode and not much more until you know you like the banter. Episode 1 is quick, the dialogue has real bite, and the premise is easy to follow: a roommate, his girlfriend and a weekend that keeps getting longer. Those are the strengths.
The weakness is that the free part only sets the table. You learn the rivalry and the hook, then pay 36 tokens to see where the setup goes. That is fine if you enjoy slow-burn tension. It is a weaker fit if you want heat in the first minute.
It suits people who like a love triangle with a sharp mouth at the center. It doesn’t suit anyone who wants the story to move quickly or who skips banter. If the triangle is what you came for, the closest matches on the site are I Won My Best Friend's Girlfriend and Midnight Compartment.
Good fit if…
- Viewers who like sharp, teasing banter
- Love-triangle stories with a roommate twist
- A short, cheap test before committing
Pass if…
- You want the story to move quickly
- You need explicit scenes in the free part
