What happens in episode 1
Harvest Court is in session, and the Queen has sent a servant from the kitchens to dress the king. He isn’t pleased. He calls her clumsy and slow, and she answers without flinching, which sets the tone for the rest of the episode.
The scene turns on a ring he wants fetched, a warning that anyone who touches her will lose a hand, and a court that he says can wait. The Queen’s watchfulness hangs over every line, so each look between the two of them has a witness.
The episode ends on her final line. She will turn his bed down at midnight, and she expects him to be in it. That is the hook, and it stops the free part on an invitation rather than a scene. It runs 57 seconds and plays without an account.
Standout beatThe servant tells the king she will turn his bed down at midnight, and she expects him in it.
Price: Free, and it plays without an account. Episode 2 needs a free account, and episodes 3 to 5 cost 12 tokens each with Premium.
