Vampire’s Lust: a night-road fantasy with a vampire lead

Vampire’s Lust on Candy Shorts is a fantasy series about a woman who feeds on men, and the night she meets a stranger on a dark road. Candy’s blurb casts the lead, Vesper.Viie, as the vampire who toys with men and then discards them. The man who stops to help is doing a favor he didn’t have to do.

The blurb hints that he is the one man she wants and refuses to take, and that neither of them is sure what the other means to them. That is the engine of the series. She is hungry and careful, he is decent and out of his depth, and the free part pushes the two of them toward a motel room without landing anywhere too fast.

Dark and flirtatious is the pitch, and the setup does its job in the first minute. The free episodes do the setting, and the paid episodes carry the rest of the story, which I won’t spoil. If you like a fantasy with a predatory edge and a lead who has a point of view, the premise is worth a closer look.

Episode 1 runs 59 seconds and plays without an account. A woman waves down a car on an empty road at three in the morning, bleeding and shaken. She says a driver offered her a lift earlier, was nice at first, then got weird and wouldn’t take no. The man who stops offers to take her to the police, and she says no, because they can’t help her. She feels safe with him, so she asks him to protect her through the night, and he suggests a motel up the road, where he says he’ll stay with her.

Episode 2 runs 78 seconds and needs a free account with no card. It’s the motel scene. He takes the room and promises to keep her safe, and she starts testing him with talk about the road and the attention he’s drawing. She tells him he smells like cold air and gasoline. The flirting gets sharper. He tells her he’s married, and she answers that vows are for people who plan on living forever.

Then the scene turns on his protest. He asks her to stop, and she tells him to be quiet, then warns that once she’s done with him, he’ll keep coming back, over and over. The free part ends there. That stop line is the one you need to know about before you pay, and I’ll come back to it in the heat section.

Vesper.Viie is a Candy original character, not a licensed performer’s AI twin, so there is no performer’s life to ask about. Candy’s profile gives her age as 21 and her occupation as psych dropout. Her personality line reads obsessive, reckless, secretive, bold and a little manipulative, and her hobbies are night photography and heavy metal playlists. That profile fits the blurb. A lead who is secretive and a little manipulative is the kind of lead who makes a stranger’s night harder, and the free part gives you a taste of that.

The free episodes name no one. The driver and the woman he picks up are the only two roles on screen, and the English subtitles never give either a name, so there’s no supporting cast to track.

The free part is suggestive, not explicit. There’s a motel room, a lot of closeness and a lot of talk about wanting what you shouldn’t, but nothing graphic happens in the free episodes. The explicit part sits behind the paywall from episode 3, and this page doesn’t describe it.

Here is the warning I’d give a friend. The second free episode plays with refusal: the man says he’s married and asks her to stop, and she tells him to be quiet. If you read the lead as a warning rather than a fantasy figure, the series will sit uneasily with you, and that’s worth knowing before you spend 36 tokens.
